Emma Ressler

Emma Ressler

Candidate in 2-year Master of Architecture degree program

Favorite thing about being at Georgia Tech: I really love the people I have met at Tech. All of the faculty and my peers come from different backgrounds and bring with them distinct perspectives and skills. I have really enjoyed meeting and learning from everyone in the program and couldn’t be more grateful for them or the experience I’ve had so far at Tech. Atlanta is also a very fun and culturally rich place to be.

Why did you decide to study architecture? I was originally interested in architecture because I enjoy all things creative and architecture allowed me to continue to be creative in my work. My interest in architecture has since strengthened after discovering how much architecture influences the world, from its impact on the environment to its social effect. I am now most interested in utilizing architecture to create positive social change.

Which student organizations do you belong to? Equity in Architecture (EQiA)
