The School of Architecture maintains a Faculty Mentorship program in which our faculty offer guidance for students. The goal of this initiative is to offer a supportive structure for our students in the early years of their academic careers. All freshmen and sophomores are partnered with a School of Architecture faculty member who maintain regular contact with their mentees.
From the kick-off ice cream social in the fall to informal coffee breaks and reviews over the year, our students and faculty are able to engage in multiple ways. The School's Faculty Mentors are a supplement to the Academic Advisors and gives students an opportunity to foster relationships with professors whom they may not ordinarily have contact.
