The practice of architecture goes beyond designing buildings. It involves understanding, experiencing, and developing the world around us. At Georgia Tech, we make it our mission to prepare our students for the ever-evolving built environment, while also challenging our students to explore architecture through a global lens. This means experiencing architecture through international education and/or from collaborating with peers, firms, and other academic departments to see architecture from different perspectives. Our students are educated on a wide variety of topics ranging from the fundamentals of architecture to the theory and history of the practice to the necessity of sustainability within the industry, all while benefitting from the technology-focused and research-driven education for which Georgia Tech is known.
