Our mission as the Georgia Tech School of Architecture is to instill in our students with a life-long curiosity about the social and cultural meaning of the built environment and a passion to be part of improving the future. We educate our students to understand architectural and urban design as creative, aesthetic, technical, and research-based pursuits that necessarily cross disciplinary boundaries. We create opportunities for our students to experience architecture through a global lens, whether it be through international education and/or from collaborating with peers, firms, and other academic departments to see and explore architecture from different perspectives. Our students are educated on a wide variety of topics ranging from the fundamentals of architecture to the theory and history of the practice to the necessity of sustainability within the industry, all while benefiting from the technology-focused and research-driven education for which Georgia Tech is known. Whether you are just beginning to explore your interest in architecture as an undergraduate, have already completed an architecture degree and are looking to continue your education, or have completed a degree in a different area of study and are looking to add architecture to your list of accomplishments, we invite you to explore our various programs of study.
