Biography

Joanna Bidani earned an undergraduate degree in history from Georgia State University, with a focus on the 20th century. She subsequently taught English in Japan and worked for several years in marketing and communication roles in Israel. Joanna returned to Atlanta in 2013 to pursue a M.ARCH degree at Georgia Tech. Upon graduating she joined Mack Scogin Merrill Elam Architects in Atlanta where she worked on projects across a wide range of programs and scales. Joanna went on to teach an undergraduate studio at Auburn University and practices as a freelance architect with several clients and firms in Atlanta. She is currently a Studio Instructor in the School of Architecture for the Freshman Studio.
