What is your favorite thing about being Georgia Tech? Campus is like a little bubble, but the city is never far! As much as I love Atlanta, the city atmosphere can leave you wanting an escape every now and then, and campus can always provide some green space or a quiet corner. But, when you're ready for some more action, it's a short walk into midtown! It's great to have both options and Atlanta offers plenty of opportunity for internships and work while you're at Georgia Tech.
What do you do for fun in Atlanta? I love to just walk around midtown with friends and see what we can find. Even taking a different route to a familiar location can be an adventure! There are a ton of hidden gems throughout the city and I'd definitely recommend checking out some of the local cafés!
What has been your favorite class? ARCH 1017 (second semester studio)! Even though it can be frustrating at times, studio gives you an opportunity to get creative and take some risks. Critics work with smaller groups of students than a normal class, so they're able to give you advice specific to your project and spend time helping you understand how you can improve.
