Redesigning Cities: The Speedwell Foundation Talks @ Georgia Tech
Join us an hour earlier than usual on October 28 at 3pm Eastern for a discussion of Redesigning Cities and Suburbs for Women. Dolores Hayden will share her definitive research on the history of feminist architecture and urbanism and how it contrasts to suburbia’s construction of women’s roles. Eva Kail will beam in from Vienna, Austria where she has been leading the implementation of gender mainstreaming in the design of parks, housing, transit and neighborhoods for over thirty years. Ellen Dunham-Jones will lead the discussion as the School of Architecture's Associate Chair, Julie Kim, moderates Q&A.
This event offers one hour of AIA HSW CEU.
