Favorite thing about being at Georgia Tech: The abundance of resources across the school and campus. Studying at Georgia Tech means easy access to incredible labs and courses. In such an innovative environment, no one is boxed in—you’re encouraged to explore different approaches and expand the ways architecture can contribute to the world, both physically and socially.

Who do you want to design for? I design for the user experience, both physically and emotionally. That might mean making residents feel comfortable, connected, and secure in their homes, or evoking respect and reflection in a memorial museum. As the virtual world increasingly takes over our lives, I see architecture as my way to push back and create meaningful real-world experiences.

What do you do for fun? I play video games in my free time. The best games feature imaginative level design, stunning art styles, and powerful storytelling. They also shape how I think about the relationship between the virtual and the real: while games can transport us into new worlds, I believe architecture has the power to ground us in meaningful physical experiences. This balance inspires my own goal of bringing experience-driven design into architecture.

One word to describe what you thought before you started: Iteration
One word to describe what you think now: Experiment
