Costs, Scholarships, Financial Aid
Current Tuition and Fees: The Office of the Bursar establishes tuition costs and fees for each semester, by program. Click on the Office of the Bursar button below, navigate to Tuition / Fees, term of enrollment, by program.
Residency: For purposes of tuition, are you considered "in-state" or "out-of-state"? Learn more about Tuition Classification here: https://catalog.gatech.edu/financial/tuition/tuition-classification/
Additional Program Costs: In addition to tuition and fees (which are set by the Institute), travel and living expenses (which are highly specific to each student), architecture students should budget for consumable supplies (e.g. drawing and model-building materials for studios), course materials (e.g. books for seminars), and regular printing costs (e.g. 2D paper and 3D printing). These costs typically average $1500 per year per student, but may vary widely based on frequency of use and scale of production. Students should also come equipped with a high-performance laptop computer suitable for advanced processing and graphics that can be used for the duration of the program. Recommended specifications are published on the SoA website here: https://arch.gatech.edu/computer-policy
Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships are available for students and are awarded during the admissions process. Additional scholarships and merit awards are offered during the program based on student performance.
Financial Aid: The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid (OSFA) is dedicated to helping students and families apply for and obtain the financial aid necessary to pursue a Georgia Tech degree. Financial advisors are available to assist you and to help you find the answers to your questions.
