School of Architecture Requirements

Processor    
Type: 13th Generation Intel Core i7 or i9, AMD Ryzen 7 or 9, or equivalent
Cores: Minimum of 6 cores, preferably 8 or more
Clock Speed: Base clock speed of 2.5 GHz or higher, up to 4.5 GHz or more

Memory     
Capacity: Minimum of 16GB, ideally 32GB or more
Type: DDR4 or DDR5, with a high clock speed (3000 MHz or higher)

Graphic card    
Type: Dedicated GPU (NVIDIA Quadro or GeForce RTX, AMD Radeon Pro or RX)
Memory: At least 6GB of VRAM, preferably 8GB or more
Support: CUDA cores (for NVIDIA) or equivalent for GPU-accelerated rendering

Primary Storage 
Primary Drive: SSD (Solid State Drive) with at least 512GB, preferably 1TB or more
Secondary Storage: Optional additional SSD or HDD for extra storage capacity

Display
Size: 15-inch or larger, ideally 17-inch
Resolution: Full HD (1920x1080) minimum, 4K (3840x2160) preferred

Backup     
External Hard Drive or cloud service

Operating System
OS: Windows 11 Pro

Recovery option    
Highly recommended  

I/O devices Physical     
keyboard and mouse (trackpad not sufficient)
