Fatima Javeed is currently enrolled as a Ph.D. student in design computation at the Georgia Institute of Technology. She is interested in researching how computational design and generative algorithms shape the way architectural forms are conceived. Her interest also extends to digital fabrication, augmented reality and interactive environments. As a focus, she is interested in developing a data-driven computational framework for automating design based on patterns in the modeled world. She is an architect and did both her B.Arch and M.Arch from UET, Lahore-Pakistan; she was teaching at the same university before joining Georgia Tech for Ph.D.
