Hang Xu is a Ph.D. at the Sustainable Urban Systems Lab at Georgia Tech under the mentorship of Dr. Patrick Kastner, focusing on high-performance buildings, urban energy modeling and computational design. He is also an architectural designer with professional experience in architectural practice across Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Beijing. Prior to joining Georgia Tech, Hang was a research assistant at Tsinghua University and earned an M.S. in Sustainable Architecture Studies from the University of Sheffield, UK.
