Curriculum
Degree requirements
Every student completes two fundamental research courses, two foundation courses, a design application course, and a master’s thesis. Concentration electives let students focus their study in one of the School’s defined concentrations.
The concentration electives listed are illustrative; current offerings are posted on the M.S. program pages. With the area advisor’s approval, other coursework, including guided self-study, may be substituted. Special topics coursework used for the Design Application requirement must meet additional qualifications described in the student handbook.
